Ecological production

The ecological cultivation of almond in Spain presents a great market opportunity that, more and more, allows to attend the constant growth in the demand of organic product, completely different from the one cultivated in over-intensive exploitations from other origins.
This kind of ecological agriculture maintain the productive schemes of conventional agriculture, by making practically the same uses in respect to pruning, ploughing, treatments and fertilization, implementing a replacement of the conventional inputs for those permitted in ecological agriculture with the aim to comply, in each moment, with the current legislation.

Markets evolve and therefore it is essential to adapt to them by promoting the transformation to ecological agriculture, to optimize our infrastructures and position us in the forefront of production.
It stands out, within the general culture of our associative character, our sustainable commitment that passes through the creation, promotion and management of our products and services, which result in social welfare, economic progress and environmental balance.

For all these reasons, the Spanish almond is more sustainable, uses less water and does not use some plants protection products allowed in almonds from other origins.

In Spain the crops have more respect with bees and the biodiversity of the environment, due to the variety of those that coexist combined with large areas of forest.
